This is a general page about the Mentoring Program that’s part of the CS6440 course. Teams will have the option to choose independent projects or projects that are infiltrated by External Healthcare Industry Mentors.
Student teams will be assigned either a TA Mentor, External Mentor or both depending on their selection of an independent project or external project. Teams are expected to meet with their mentors at least once a week to have weekly mentor check-ins. These meeting must be documented and shared with the team deliverables or project status reports.
Student teams must have at least 5 documented check-ins with their mentors. Below you can find a refined schedule that highlights the team meetings and mentor check-ins. You can find the full course calendar and all of the course deliverables here.
